I thought perhaps, that if I shared a couple of my poems, my true heart can be revealed at a glance, but of course, THAT is something only you can decide, I DO hope you enjoy them, as they were written by a man who longs to share this beautiful world with a kindred spirit :) A POEM

Once...we stood alone, naked and cold in the driving rain, seeking an unreachable shelter from the storm of love left undone...but somewhere deep inside, with the courage of a hopeful heart, I step out into the cloudburst...the rain feels warm and soothing on my face....high above the clouds, your curious gaze peeks at me from beyond the storm and shines on me like the sun...I am willfully paralyzed by the light given so freely by you, suddenly finding myself in the midst of the garden where you dwell...captured in a timeless moment that has no expectation to possess, yet being fully aware of the joy my heart knew, in the moment that you smiled...at me...

ANOTHER POEM

Thru sleepy eyes, I barely awaken to realize you lying next to me...I gently brush your hair back from your face so as not to awaken you...and pull you a little closer to me...a soft smile finds its way to my lips as I wrap my arms around this vision I so willfully entertain, and this loneliness no longer binds me...I softly kiss your shoulder and close my eyes to fall back into...the dream of you....Later that morning...nudge, nudge...and unspoken truths come to light in the sweetness of your kiss, I breathe you in , my heart beating so close to yours, .. I am amazed at the wonder of you... and even tho...this is all a dream...someone once told me...it is so much more fun...making them come true...I hold this moment ever so tenderly to keep it safe, to keep it pure, for a moment like that, will always live on...I put it in a box of a thousand such moments...again, you are not aware that I am watching when you are moving about in the morning...you move about so gracefully and a soft glow comes from you that can only be seen in the stillness of a treasured moment...the glow lights up your face like an angel, like when the sun is first warming the earth in the early of the day, like a woman who is with child, like a woman who is loved...you turn unexpectedly and your eyes meet mine, only to reveal my thoughts to you in a single glance and the curve of your knowing smile, makes the smile we both wear grow larger with each passing moment...I decide its time to make the journey from my observatory perch...to your side ...stealing the sweetest of little kisses, I say "go sit down honey" I'll get the coffee..and then....I'M MAKING WAFFLES...LOL
