“ Just bought a Hunter 44DS sailboat I named "Seneca Blues" to start a new series of adventures...they say one is never too old for a new goal - mine is to sail Florida and the Caribbean and visit all the places I've been to when I was in the Coast Guard but now on my terms!
Looking for someone who doesn't get seasick when looking at a chart of the Thornless Path (Florida to the Leewards) and gets as excited as I do about the adventure!

So....Looking for a partner, a First Mate who likes boats and sailing and adventure, a best friend, a true love - haven’t found all of that in one woman yet, but I'm on the lookout!
I’m 60 going on 40 and healthy in body, mind and spirit. , well-traveled, sort-of well read, open minded, and very physically fit with a good sense of style (well - working on it - truth is my daughters check my sense of style). Overall, a good balance of character traits with a big heart. I have been very fortunate that life has been good to me…. I have two wonderful daughters, 23 and 26, a close family, a handful of true friends, and a universe of acquaintances.

Looking for an intelligent, energetic, sexy, passionate, self-aware, honest no-drama partner to grow with...a woman who is truly ready (that is...ready now - not when the grandchildren are grown:) to take off on sailing adventures in the fall and winter and summer on Seneca lake and if that works out...grow in an intimate and communicative relationship... all of this sounds great to me - perhaps it sounds nice to you.... but before all that there has to be that first spark of physical attraction...how many of you just delete and move on based on the pictures? - that’s life!

Just read an article in the WSJ about this pro photographer Slim Aarons who asked these questions of a girl he was interviewing to be his assistant on global trips...Can you be ready to leave with little advance notice? (well, I'm not in that much rush) Is your passport in order? Can you stand the sun in a two-piece bathing suit? Can you write? (In my case it would be the ship's log)
Can you walk up hills at high altitude? (Well the mountains on Caribbean islands aren't that high but it's a great workout)

So come sail with me on Seneca Lake and the Caribbean, dance with me in the kitchen (on land and on the boat) as we cook dinner together, dance with me in front of the fireplace to Van Morrison, float with me in the boat on a flat calm lake with a glowing full moon, walk with me in the vineyards…..and yes relax and breathe now and then with a fine wine.. ”
