This is an exception to all the other trips. IF I can ever get to Iceland, I will go there to find a friend I had for approx 20-25 years (via correspondence. Due to problems w/ international mail, (This was before the internet.) each moving at about the same time, & a plumbing accident which ruined many letters/addresses, we lost touch AND just haven't been able to reconnect with each other. I would love to find her, but I think I would really need the help of a detective. However, perhaps w/ the help of an Icelandic guide who really knows her own country, it might be possible to accomplish my goal if I were to take this trip. I suppose it could be called a "business" trip since it does have a strict purpose. But it is more of a personal trip. Hopefully an enjoyable, fruitful one. With some sightseeing & possible a little adventure added. So, any potential guides out the who are up for such a challenge who can help w/ this quest? Please contact me. Thank you!
