I'm a Colombian-American who has lived mostly in New York City. I have a doctorate in Genetics and worked for Columbia University as a researcher. I'm currently living in Colombia and pursuing an MD degree. My dream is to combine both degrees to best help solve health issues.

I'm an easy going person and I love to travel. I especially love natural landscapes and you can imagine I am enjoying my time here in Colombia. I live in Pereira, a city in the heart of the coffee region. A short drive away are two nice cities Manizales and Armenia. These cities have modern shopping centers and nice Plazas worth seeing. Nearby are cute small towns such as Finlandia, Salento and Pananca. There are natural hot/thermal springs, beautiful mountains, rivers and national parks to see. This region is quickly becoming a tourist spot due to its natural attractions and wonderful climate. The people here are known for their good nature, out going personality and their friendliness.

I will be more than happy to show you spots that are definitely worth seeing. My Aim is for you to have a wonderful experience and go back home with a good impression. I can show you parts of Colombia or New York too!
